Kick off your sports career with the Portland Timbers.

As a photography intern with the PORTLAND TIMBERS you have the distinct opportunity to be part of an all-encompassing offseason internship in preparation for the 2013 Major League Soccer season. This internship is an unpaid position open to current college students or recent college graduates.

Selection for an internship will be made based on applicable skills, experience and area(s) of education. Be sure to clearly demonstrate your skills, experience and area(s) of interest in your application.

Start dates are negotiable – between October and January. Duration of internships will be based on performance and/or business needs.

Responsibilities include:

•Action and feature photography at all home games
•Photography of select player appearances and press conferences, corporate events and team training sessions
•Assist team photographer with player photo shoots
•Edit, caption and send game action photos from team photographer
•Caption and archive stock photos
•Work closely with team communications office and PR dept for game day photo needs

Job Questions:

  1. Do you own equipment? Yes/No (There may be access to some pool equipment, but you should own a professional dSLR camera and lenses) Please include your equipment list when applying.
