Internship: Internship
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Multicultural/Hispanic Marketing Intern to join our team for the Summer semester.  The primary role of this candidate will be to coordinate and execute community outreach and manage relationships within the tri-state area.

Internships with Philadelphia Union will provide qualified interns with an assortment of valuable learning experiences and exposure to all facets of a professional soccer team’s front office.  Interns may be occasionally asked to work nights and weekends

  • Supports outreach efforts to multicultural communities, businesses, community groups, and local leaders
  • Actively distributes collateral and promotional materials to local businesses and community groups
  • Supports the marketing team with planning an execution of  Hispanic marketing programs, promotions, and events
  • Assist with planning of  multicultural street team activities with the marketing intern
  • Copywriting and translation of marketing materials
  • Identifies opportunities in the community for activations and events
  • Ability to express ideas clearly through both oral and written communication.
  • Construct and compile presentations, strong PPT, Photoshop and Excel skills

  • Must be Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Pursuing a BA or Graduate degree in Marketing, Sports Communication, or Business
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting as well as independently with a no job too small attitude
  • Demonstrate sound organizational, coordinating and personal interface skills
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail
  • Must be available and flexible with evening hours, weekends/holidays work as needed
  • Experience in a brand ambassador role, street team role, or similar
  • Experience with the Hispanic Market is a plus
  • Must be able to travel within the tri-state area and have reliable means of transportation
*This is an unpaid, academic internship.  To be considered, you must be receiving academic credit*

If selected for an internship with the Philadelphia Union the intern will be required to provide the following clearances:
  • PA Child Abuse History clearance
  • PA State Police Criminal Records Check
  • An FBI Criminal Background Check if you have not been a continuous resident of Pennsylvania for 10 years.   If you have been a continuous resident of PA for the last 10 years, you may affirm in writing that you have no other convictions that would disqualify employment.
