ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Philadelphia was awarded the 16th Major League Soccer franchise in February, 2008 and the team was officially announced as the Philadelphia Union in May, 2009.  Owned and operated by Keystone Sports and Entertainment LLC (“KSE”), the group launched the Philadelphia Union's inaugural season in 2010 and opened what is now Subaru Park in June, 2010.  Subaru Park is an 18,500 seat, world-class soccer specific stadium that sits beautifully along the Delaware River at the base of the Commodore Barry Bridge and is only 15 miles from downtown Philadelphia.  The club has reached the finals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in 2014, 2015 and 2018, and has appeared in the MLS Cup Playoffs in 2011, 2016, 2018 and 2019. In 2020, the Union were awarded the club’s first Supporters’ Shield after finishing with the best regular season record in MLS.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
The  Graphic Designer is responsible for generating creative work for digital and print needs including, but not limited to, web ads, sales collateral pieces, corporate partnership mock-ups and collateral, and social media/website elements for the Philadelphia Union and Keystone Sports & Entertainment events and entities. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Use Adobe Creative Cloud Design Suite to generate designs for use on social media, websites and printed materials.
  • Work alongside the Marketing, Ticketing, and Corporate Partnerships departments under the supervision of Creative Director to ensure all graphics needs are met.
  • Ideate and create content for digital and social media channels. 
  • Proof all materials in an accurate manner, delivering high-quality, on-time and error-free drafts. 
  
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • 3-5 years experience preferably for a sports and entertainment entity. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Energetic, creative and collaborative mentality. 
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently. 
  • Highly organized. 
  • Must be able to work matchdays and events, including nights and weekends. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign, preferred.
  • Knowledge of social media trends and best practices a plus.
  • Familiarity with, or desire to learn, Affter Effects, Premier and other creative programs a plus.
