SUMMARY
 The Philadelphia Union strives to be the most innovative, engaging, and exciting digital brand in American sports. As our audience grows and develops, we are adding a digital media contractor to create and manage digital content on new platforms.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  •  Launch Union presence on emerging social media platforms
  • Follow Union digital content plan, including sharing social posts and individually creating unique social media content
  • Manage contesting and raffles, including merchandise requests and tracking
  • Manage player appearances and coordinate player posting on new social platforms
  • Produce/share unique social media content weekly, including photography, video, motion graphic, and photoshopped graphics
  • Understand and search the Union photo and video database to produce assets
  • Manage integration of Union retail and ticket sales onto novel platforms
  • Monthly written content driven by social posting strategy
  • Coordinate digital sweepstakes and prizing
  • Promote digital Union content across social platforms
  • Interact with fans/followers on owned digital accounts
  • Align messaging with Union digital team 
  • Track social analytics
  • Coordinate Union player virtual live chats
  • Activate social channels prior to and during matches
  • Work nights and weekends in accordance with MLS schedule
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  •  Familiarity with Union social media voice
  • Ability to operate independently while coordinating with Union digital team virtually
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite products including Photoshop, Premier, and After Effects
  • Flexible schedule to support Union matchdays
  • Ability to grow and develop the Union brand
