Title:               Fan Engagement & Loyalty Game Day Intern

Reports to:     LionNation Coordinator

 Internship Summary:
Interns will have the opportunity to learn about the history, culture and vision of Orlando City SC, understanding the importance of how a professional sports organization works (which could include sales, marketing, public relations, operations, or the internal working of the Club), to further develop general critical thinking, problem solving, time management, communication, and writing skills.
 
Position Summary:   The Fan Engagement & Loyalty Game Day Intern will report to the LionNation Coordinator. The position will assist the LionNation team with providing excellent customer service and in-game fan activations and loyalty marketing activities 
 
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO RECEIVE ACADEMIC CREDIT FOR THIS INTERNSHIP.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with customer service and fan retention
  • Learn how to manage and execute on-field activities with the goal to increase fan satisfaction
  • Assist with the assembly and maintenance of loyalty-related activations on game days, including both Orlando City and Orlando Pride home games
  • Learn how to manage the fulfillment needs/requests in order to ensure participant satisfaction
  • Assist with the tracking and timely and accurate entry of fan data 
  • Able to learn and provide outstanding customer service
  • Assist and develop special creative projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:        
  • Must currently be a student (undergraduate or graduate) who is able to receive college credit.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends for every Orlando City and Orlando Pride home game, in addition to any other events that may arise.
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, high pressure, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to coordinate and creatively solve multiple tasks.
  • Strong work ethic: team player with a “get it done” attitude. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Advance experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
 
About Orlando City SC
Orlando City SC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the league's 21st franchise in November 2013, becoming the first MLS team in the Southeast. The Lions began league play in March 2015, and in 2017, moved into its privately-owned downtown soccer stadium. In 2019, Orlando City SC will launch OCB in the newly-formed USL League One to bridge the gap between its successful youth development academy and the First Team.
