Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is the newest MLS soccer club serving the greater Los Angeles area. POSITION SUMMARY:
The LAFC Inside Sales program is intended to train and develop entry level candidates into top sales professionals in the sports industry. This program features extensive training and development focusing on fundamental sales processes as well as advanced techniques for a constantly changing sales environment. The primary focus of this entry-level position is to develop candidates into sales professionals with the ability to sell a full menu of ticket products including season ticket, group, suite, and partial ticket packages. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Responsible for selling the following packages: full season memberships, partial plan and group tickets.
  • Produce revenue via traditional and non-traditional methods including but not limited to: cold calls, in person meetings, site visits, and networking. 
  • Complete at least 100 outbound phone calls per day with the goal of establishing a face to face appointment at Banc of California Stadium.
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales goals as determined by Department.
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring prompt and thorough responses for all inbound and outbound communication.
  • Attend home matches to ensure great customer service to all clients and fans.
Assist Sales department in various duties as needed.
 
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  • Attend with Club sponsored charity events within the local community.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination of sales/services related events.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.

QUALIFICATION:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University required.
  • Minimum of 1 year related work experience preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and execute in a timely manner.
  • Must be flexible with the ability to adapt in a fast pace work environment with challenging demands and frequent changes.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Must possess a professional demeanor and has the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and outside contacts.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively – both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – specifically word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as the event calendar requires.
  • Previous experience working with a dynamic ticketing system and CRM platform is a plus.
