The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is an MLS soccer club serving the greater Los Angeles area. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coordinator, Brand & Community is responsible for planning, communicating, and executing LAFC supporter relations for the Club, as well as marketing support for the department.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage the relationship between the Club and supporters group by scheduling consistent meetings and ensuring concise communication between the two parties. 
  • Oversee administrative duties including but not limited to scheduling and running department meetings, FAQ’s, invoice/expense processing, shipping.
  • Liaison between the supporters’ and the Club’s Community Relations team to coordinate charitable programs and initiatives. 
  • Provide supporters with any and all Stadium operations related needs including but not limited to matchday presentation, fan fest, and security. 
  • Coordinate away travel plans for visiting supporters and LAFC supporters away travel.
  • Lead all communication between supporters and the Club’s Ticket Sales + Service department. 
  • Support Partnership Marketing team in executing sponsorship deliverables while maintaining the integrity of the LAFC brand.
  • Assist Brand & Community department with grassroots marketing programs, merchandise promotion, and operations.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience with strong customer service or fan relations and engagement experience, with a profession sports team preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally.
  • Highly driven self-starter, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective follow-up, and follow through required.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask and execute various projects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English - both verbally and in writing. 
  • Superb critical thinking skills to effectively and efficiently address and solve internal and external challenges.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and a myriad of third-party research.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality at all times.  
  • Natural desire to service fans and supporters with a “can do” attitude.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Must be able to work all home games during the season.
  • Multilingual is a plus.
