Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is the newest MLS soccer club serving the greater Los Angeles area. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coordinator, Brand & Community is responsible for planning, communicating, and executing various aspects of how the LAFC brand engages with both existing fans and potential new fans of the Club. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between LAFC and Supporters to ensure and maintain positive relationship between both parties.
  • Coordinate all aspects of Supporter events including, but not limited to daily messaging, monthly meetings, stadium operational requests or responses, community programming & match day activation.
  • Provide bi-weekly report of all current Supporter events and action items.
  • Complete all home match tasks related to Supporters as well as help facilitate away travel needs for Supporters.
  • Assist in strategic planning and creative process of grassroots marketing efforts by producing and executing grassroots marketing events around the city.
  • Assist the department with administrative duties including but not limited to internal paperwork, expenses, and special projects as directed by Supervisor. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited College or University required.




  • 1-3 years of experience in the sports industry, professional team or agency experience preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong customer service or fan relations and engagement experience.
  • Highly driven self-starter, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective follow-up and follow through required.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask and execute various projects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English - both verbally and in writing. 
  • Superb critical thinking skills to effectively and efficiently address and solve internal and external challenges.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and a myriad of third-party research.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality at all times.  
  • Natural desire to service fans and supporters with a “can do” attitude.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work all home games during the season.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
