Manager – Sponsorship Sales

The Manager of Sponsorship Sales with work directly with the Chief Revenue Officer to maximize corporate partnership sales for the Mesquite Outlaws. This position will require a dedicated sales professional capable of prospecting business targets, presenting a strategic partnership framework and cultivating those relationships into sustained clients

About the Mesquite Outlaws
The Mesquite Outlaws are a professional indoor soccer team that play in the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL). Mesquite Outlaws Futbol Club are proud to play their MASL home games at The Mesquite Arena. The venue was opened in 1986 and has a capacity of 5,500-seats based in Mesquite, Texas.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Identify business targets in the Dallas area that are high probability candidates to sponsor the Outlaws
Customizing sponsorship presentations to support business objectives of prospective targets
Accelerate process of renewing previous trade and cash business partners
Presentations to new sponsorship prospects leveraging insights, analytics and strategic sales materials
Oversee all fulfillment of sponsorship agreements ensuring proof of performances
Collaborate with marketing and ticket sales to strengthen value proposition for sponsors
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to develop dynamic sales collateral materials
Manage a select CRM process to track activity for sponsorship sales initiatives
Provide weekly reports on sales progress and target updates
Assist with all match day operations

Job Requirements

5+ years of sales experience with sports, music or leisure events
Sports and Event sponsorship sales experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Time management skills
Customer service experience
Ability to work very flexible schedule

Education

Bachelor’s degree
