The Director of Ticket Sales and Service will oversee full season, partial season, group, and single-match ticketing for Loudoun United FC and a new USL-W club starting in 2022 at Segra Field. Will be responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, and motivating the ticket sales staff. This staff member will be responsible for creating, executing, and establishing sales initiatives and ticket packages designed to exceed revenue goals. This team member will be responsible for developing and implementing systems to monitor sales production and professional development of each member of the sales and service staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create pricing strategies and sales timelines for new and renewal campaigns
  • Exceed department ticket sales goals
  • Commit as a ticket seller and exceed individual sales goals
  • Hire, train and develop top-level ticket sales talent
  • Lead regular ticket sales meetings to facilitate discussion and ideas to consistently grow revenue
  • Create and oversee package member benefits, including member events
  • Build critical path and provide accurate and timely reports regarding daily/weekly ticket sales, flash reports, and commission reports
  • Hire and supervise Ticket Operations and Box Office team
  • Lead high retention rates of season and members with ticket sales staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to design & execute events and programs that generate leads and business opportunities
  • Responsible for excellent customer service
  • Assist the Marketing Department with the creation of sales materials, promotions, and CRM/Database initiatives (data collection, analytics, etc.)
  • Monitor and manage seating inventory and payment processing to maximize attendance and revenue
  • Oversee required league reports
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:
  • Superior communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Results-oriented leader with proven ability to motivate people and maximize ticket revenue production
  • Proven track record in team ticket sales – both in terms of personal accomplishments and leading successful sales and service teams
  • Self-starter, enthusiastic, creative, and able to think both strategically and tactically
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Highest level of personal and professional integrity
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience working with ticketing systems such as Ticketmaster/Archtics preferred
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • 3+ years of sales experience preferred
  • 1+ years of ticket sales management preferred
