Facility Operations/Event Staff: Conversion Crew

Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the League’s 27th club in January 2019. Austin FC officially began competing in MLS in April 2021 and played its first match at home on June 19, 2021, in the new, 100% privately financed, $260 million, state-of-the-art Q2 Stadium in Austin.
Austin FC is actively seeking a part-time Operations & Facilities Team Member who will assist with the general operation, setup, and maintenance of St. David’s Performance Center. This position will also assist during events to include set up and repairs to create and above and beyond environment for every guest at St. David’s Performance Center & Parmer Field for all Austin FC II matches and other events.

You Will:
· Assist with set up, tear down, and conversions for all St. David’s Performance Center events; and
· Assist with general upkeep and maintenance of St. David’s Performance Center; and
· Help execute the gameday plan for the Austin FC II; and
· Work alongside SDPC Operations team in all aspects of maintenance; and
· Make general repairs such as patching, painting, and other common facility maintenance; and
· Respond and complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner; and
· Keep all work and storage areas neat and safe; and
· Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
You Have:
· A desire to work within the sports, entertainment, or hospitality industry preferred
· Ability of operating hand and power tools
· Carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and painting knowledge preferred
· Electrical experience is a plus
· Ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds
· Ability to stand, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and move continuously during work hours
· Ability to work independently and take initiative
· Technical or prior field experience in maintenance or facilities a plus
