Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
 
USA Swimming Productions
o   Support the implementation of the USA Swimming Productions strategic plan
o   Shoot and edit video during live events and for sponsored content
o   Serve as a Producer on original content projects 
o   Use established production budgets and ensure that projects are completed according to schedule
o   Create content to distribute across all channels including TV, web and social media
o   Coordinate Production shoots and oversee the delivery of final product
o   Support events and the webcast team with on-site production
o   Support internal Departments and Divisions on the creation of digital content to support programs 
o   Maintain digital archive and create a library of assets
 
Job Qualifications: 
Knowledge, skill, ability, educational/training, experience, working environment, physical activities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Television Production, Communication, Journalism, Radio/TV or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • TV broadcast writing, producing and editing experience of at least 3-5 years (preferably in sports)
  • Must be familiar with broadcast editing programs such as Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro a plus
  • Digital content writing knowledge required
  • Proven knowledge of broadcast and live streaming operations
  • Experience with designing and managing custom graphic template titles and generator packages
  • Studio management, including set design and light grid management
  • Knowledge of WordPress, SEO, a variety of Social Media platforms and social media marketing techniques, Constant Contact
  • Experience or knowledge in the sport of swimming preferred
  • Results-oriented with a high level of personal initiative and pride in own work
  • Willingness to travel, with extended travel at times for events
