Position Description 
As a member of the video department, this position is responsible for conceptualizing and producing motion graphics and video content for U.S. Soccer’s social media and digital properties, broadcast partners and in-stadium productions. 
Primary Responsibilities 
  •  Develop, manage and deliver high-quality and innovative video motion graphics to U.S. Soccer’s publish points, focusing primarily on digital and social media channels
  • Update templates with video and graphic elements for live game coverage
  • Create graphics in response to events in progress and develop video motion graphics on the fly to capture and deliver social media reactions
  • Create and edit animations for U.S. Soccer’s internal programs including Development Academy, Referees, Coaching, and High Performance
  • Support other aspects of the production process in the Video Department at U.S. Soccer
Minimum Qualifications
  • Expert in Adobe After Effects
  • Strong proficiency in other Adobe applications; notably Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator 
  • Experience designing motion graphics catering to social media
  • Strong creative mind with the ability to conceptualize and bring to life innovative motion graphics
  • Quick learner who can function well in the fast-paced environment mandated by professional sports
  • Able and willing to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Ability and willing to travel domestically and internationally (passport required) 
  • Able and willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings & weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Mastery of Adobe After Effects
  • Knowledge of 3D graphics and/or compositing programs
  • Impetus to push U.S. Soccer’s stylistic sensibility while staying within the boundaries of its brand guidelines and workflows
  • Approaches project, data, and studio management with the same attention to detail as any of the elements mentioned above
  • Experience in the field with digital cinema cameras, sound and lighting techniques
