USA Cycling is the national governing body for the sport of cycling and oversees the disciplines of road, track, mountain bike, cyclocross and BMX. The CRM Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Membership and will work out of our Colorado Springs, Colorado headquarters. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing the execution of CRM systems and a track record of optimizing system tools to their fullest. A creative, results-driven mindset is needed to seek ways to ensure that each USA Cycling business unit is fully served by system capabilities. 

The CRM Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following: 
  • Managing all B2C communications, working to ensure that the database and outgoing marketing create lifetime brand loyalty journeys with USA Cycling. 
  • Build, execute and lead CRM strategy for email and push notifications to drive membership engagement.
  • Create and manage a retention strategy that grows customer frequency year over year.
  • Evolve cadence, content and promotions to match membership trends thus ensuring solid quarterly performance marketing programs.
  • Develop reports for key stakeholders to demonstrate ongoing performance results of CRM programs and communication.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with marketing team on campaigns and digital marketing initiatives. 
  • Performs these and other duties as assigned. 
  • Proven track record in customer lifestyle marketing, segmentation and testing to drive engagement,  conversion and sales performance
  • Expert knowledge of website analytic tools (i.e. Google Analytics and Adobe)
  • A continuous learner with a proven track record of innovation and creativity
  • Strong data and analytical skills to quantify and improve marketing results
  • Ability to think critically about prioritization decisions and make smart trade-offs
  • Thrive on responsibility and display a passion for quality results
  • Excellent verbal/written presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork: working selflessly with others in pursuit of a common cause 
  • Power to build positive, professional relationships with internal and external customers and members of the Cycling community
  • Positive, can-do attitude with ability to be creative in overcoming resource limitations.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional work hours including some weekends and holidays

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience is required. 

  • A minimum of 3-5 years email and CRM experience, with specific experience managing lead generation, engagement and retention programs to scale
  • Experience with Sales Force preferred 
  • Prior work experience in a membership based organization 

Software Utilized
  • CRM and Marketing Automation (i.e. Salesforce and Marketo) and acquisition tools, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Less than 5 %
