Under direction of the Social Media Manager and USEF Network Producer, this full-time position is responsible for assistance in the creation, oversight, and tracking of posts on the US Equestrian family of social media properties. Those properties include US Equestrian accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube and USEF Network accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. This individual will help maintain the content calendar, which includes both original content and produced content by other marketing members like editorial, communications, sport, executive, sponsorship, and ShopUSEF. In addition, this role will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of US Equestrian’s activities for the USEF Network platform, livestreaming and event support, creative content creation, as well as video archiving and video clip requests.





ESSENTIAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain USEF and USEF Network social media accounts on a daily basis
  • Manage social media content calendar coordinating with Social Media Manger
  • Creation of original video and graphic content via Adobe Creative suite (Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects) for social media and USEF Network
  • Creative photography for marketing uses including photo asset management, tagging and editing
  • Pull monthly social media analytics reports and using that data to make future content decisions.
  • Assist with 24/7 monitoring and management of social platforms including comments and messages
  • Monitor USEF Network Livestreams
  • Capture B-roll to be used for promotional videos
  • Create promotional videos through the use of Adobe Premiere and After Effects

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
 
EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or Communications is strongly preferred.

EXPERIENCE
Experience with professional social media management and original video production, graphic creation, and photography utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro).

SKILLS AND ABILITIES 
  • Ability to utilize Photoshop to manipulate and edit photographs and other digital images.
  • Create promotional videos and motion graphics using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for social media and USEF Network
  • Proficient with using a DSLR camera and video production equipment
  • Ability to use Adobe InDesign to create original web graphics.
  • Demonstration of creativity in design while remaining true to the US Equestrian brand.  
  • Must be independent, resourceful, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of work. 
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Periodic travel is required. 
  • Extended hours of availability, including nights and weekends.
