Sponsorship Sales & Activation: Sponsorship Services/Activation
Under direction of the Director of Sponsorship & Sales, this full-time position is deeply involved with most, if not all, aspects of sponsorship agreement fulfillment. Responsibilities include coordinating the sponsorship contract process, ensuring on-site activation of sponsorship deliverables, invoicing, and other related tasks. Special events pertaining to sponsorship activities include, but are not limited to, the North American Junior and Young Rider Championships, the US Pony Finals, and the USEF Annual Meeting. The Sponsorship Coordinator must effectively communicate both within the Marketing department and US Equestrian as a whole, as well as with individuals outside of the organization, and must be timely in responding to all sponsors. As needed, this individual will assist with sponsorship sales and be available to participate in meetings pertaining to any sponsorship matters.
Within the Marketing department, this position is responsible for coordinating with other members of the team to ensure that sponsor deliverables are met. This includes e-blast coordination and scheduling, social media planning, ensuring that all online databases (including Trello, Asana, and any others that may be utilized in the future) are up-to-date. Other responsibilities include sponsor signage management, mailing list distribution, and VIK tracking. This position requires excellent organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree highly preferred.
At least one year of work experience in an office environment, customer service, or sales. Associates degree or higher may substitute for experience requirement.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have strong organizational and communication skills. Must have excellent writing skills. Must have the ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint.
Must be capable of lifting at least 35 pounds. Some travel and weekend work required.
