Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Sr. Director of USEF Network and Operations, this full-time position is responsible for coordinating and executing on US Equestrian's activities for the USEF Network platform, including video and digital content creation, livestreaming and event support, as well as video archiving and video clip requests. In addition, this position will support US Equestrian's other media platforms (Social, Web, etc.) and events with the creation of video and digital content.

This position works with staff members, event organizers, and partner organizations to execute various deliverables for each event on the USEF Network production calendar. Additionally, this role creates and executes promotional material supporting each event to educate and expand US Equestrian membership base. This position will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of a long-term video archiving plan. 

Daily tasks may include, but are not limited to:  creation of both short and long form video content, setup and monitoring of USEF Network Livestreams, creation and management of USEF Network Event Pages, adding and organizing entries in the extensive US Equestrian video library, and retrieval of video assets from past events to fulfill video requests.

Job Specifications:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in digital media, broadcast media or related field.  High school diploma plus four years of experience or Associate’s degree plus two years of experience may substitute for degree requirement (in addition to experience required below).

Minimum of two years experience in video production and/or live show production. Equine experience and familiarity with various breeds/disciplines is preferred but not required.

The ideal candidate is high-energy with a can-do personality that thrives in deadline-driven environment.  Must have the ability to setup and maintain a high level of organization for media projects; to remain patient and professional in high-pressure, live production environments; and to create, manage, and oversee innovative long and short form content from storyboard creation through the final editing process.  Must have knowledge of underlying technical details of video transmission used in livestreaming environments as well as a proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud products, most notably Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.

Must be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, be able to sit for long periods of time, and be able to assist in the setup of technical productions.Frequent travel and weekend work required.
