Job Summary:

Under general supervision, this position provides advanced administrative assistance, analytics and special project support to the legal department, including the Safe Sport program. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing and coordinating special projects, attending, coordinating and documenting meetings, organizing and managing files and information flow, preparing and distributing communications and materials, and communicating internally and externally.  Answer calls and online reports in a timely fashion and assist with triage of concerns by providing guidance and resources.  In fulfilling these responsibilities, this position interacts with executive and senior management, staff, members, committees, and the general public. Handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality is a primary requirement of this position.

Job Specifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Degree preferred.
Minimum three years clerical or administrative experience required. Experience with project management and/or legal background preferred.  Knowledge of, or experience in the equestrian competition and rules and familiarity with Robert’s Rules of Order would be beneficial.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically MSWord, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel is required. Must have a high level of interpersonal skills including demonstrated tact and diplomacy to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
