Web/Creative Services: Graphic Design/Creative Services
Position Summary/Objective:
Reporting to the Manager of Creative Services and working as part of the creative team, this position is responsible for production of a wide range of printed and digital materials, as well as coordinating and aiding in the flow of design projects and deadline adherence across several departments. The chosen candidate will work with in-house departments, print and sign shops, and outside vendors to assure production quality and timeliness of project completion.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Apply conceptual thinking and creativity to complex design problems, from conception to production
  • Adept at design for digital applications
  • Understands Brand identity and logo development
  • Design and produce print-ready files for marketing materials including point-of-sale, arena signage, print ads and collateral, out-of-home and more
  • Manage and track production process of all visual elements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Services Manager, and designers
  • Communicate effectively with other departments when producing collateral
  • Ability to distill complex briefs and objectives into single-minded ideas with outstanding creative solutions
  • Ability to prioritize, solve and close issues
  • Excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Detail-oriented and well organized
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task on complex projects
  • Comfortable presenting concepts and campaigns to internal decision-makers and senior executives
  • Flexible and accommodating to the needs of the team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills a must
  • Understanding of proper file format for digital, and print
  • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator technical proficiency
  • Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing and resolve any issue that arise
  • Provide image retouching, clipping paths, additional image manipulation and prepared for online, mobile, and print applications
  • Create PDFs for printers and large format sign machines
  • Conduct press checks
  • Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time          

Education & Formal Training:
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design/Visual Arts - preferred

  • Must have a strong portfolio available in digital format (PDF or link)
  • Minimum 1-2 years professional experience 

Working Conditions:
  • Normal office hours Monday-Friday 
  • Extended hours may be needed based on business needs
  • Travel may also be required
