Position Summary/Objective:
The Accounts Receivable (A/R) Processor is responsible for managing and maintaining the accounts receivable functions for Professional Bull Riders (PBR). This role ensures accurate processing of payments, invoicing, collections, and related accounting tasks while supporting broader finance operations. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process all cash receipts, including payment intake, preparation of daily deposits, and posting to the A/R accounting system.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices for sponsors, promoters, contestants, and other stakeholders.
- Process credit card and American Express transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor and pursue collection of past-due accounts to ensure timely payment.
- Review invoices and monthly statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Record transactions in journals, ledgers, and related records.
- Assist with monthly bank account reconciliations.
- Support vendor onboarding in alignment with corporate policies and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team on ad hoc projects and provide general accounting support as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat required).
- Experience with accounting software; SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Education & Formal Training:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field - preferred.
Experience:
- 2-3 or more years of relevant accounting or accounts receivable experience – strongly preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Normal office hours Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Extended hours, weekends, and travel may be occasionally required
