Position Summary/Objective:

The Senior Director Partnership Marketing will lead the PBR Partnership Marketing team – managing a talented team of seven Account Managers, directly servicing select key accounts, and ultimately ensuring that the PBR sets the bar for best-in-class account management across a growing portfolio of 35+ National and Regional sponsors.

This individual will be expected to elevate the collective work of the PBR Partnership Marketing team and the marketing campaigns of every PBR partner across multiple PBR properties (PBR Unleash The Beast, PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour, PBR Team Series, PBR Challenger Tour, etc.), PBR partner properties (Ft. Worth Stockyards, Cowtown Coliseum, World Champions Rodeo Alliance, Women’s Rodeo World Championship, Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo, Ultimate Bullfighting, etc.), and PBR media channels (CBS, CBS Sports Network, Pluto TV, social media, etc.). This individual will be expected to build strong relationships – internally and externally – and work across PBR’s sponsorship portfolio to marry PBR goals and objectives with those of our partners to deliver creative marketing programs that deliver results.

A typical day will include team leadership (1-on-1 meetings, team meetings, mentorship, conflict resolution, etc.), partnership engagement (sponsor meetings, relationship building with decision makers, conflict resolution, sponsor marketing campaign optimization, etc.), business management (asset management, budgeting, partnership renewals, etc.), and more. Additionally, this position will quickly become a trusted colleague across the PBR organization, routinely working with PBR TV, Streaming, Content, Digital, Production, Live Event Marketing, Ticketing, Special Events, Graphics, Accounting, and other PBR and Endeavor teams.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of successfully leading people and teams, an extensive account management background, direct experience working with national and international brands, a robust history of strategic planning and execution, experience working in professional sports, and embody the spirit of teamwork.

The Senior Director Partnership Marketing position reports to the Vice President Corporate Partnerships and will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead PBR Partnership Marketing team
    • Set the bar for best-in-class management for all PBR partners
    • Manage talented team of seven Account Managers
  • Full account management responsibilities for key PBR partners, including contract management and fulfillment, integrated promotions and activations, experiential marketing, branding, digital, television, retail, talent appearances, ticketing, hospitality, merchandise, etc.
  • Build strong relationships with all PBR partners, key decision makers, their agencies, and internal PBR departments
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of PBR and partner businesses, becoming an expert in both
  • Work cross-functionally within PBR, and across other Endeavor businesses, to deliver value to partners
  • Strategic asset management across Live Events, TV, Streaming, and Digital
  • Develop tracking and reporting procedures to help PBR and partners maximize impact of marketing campaigns
  • Lead multi-year partnership renewals
  • Proactively develop incremental investment opportunities for partners
  • Hospitality and event management
  • Create and provide partner recap reports
  • Create case studies of impactful partner activations
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Skilled in all aspects of account management and partner/client service
  • Familiar with sports sponsorship contracts and rights packages
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office software – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, etc.

Education & Formal Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field - preferred

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in partnership marketing, sponsorship, or marketing in the professional sports industry

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office hours Monday-Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Position is located in Ft. Worth, Texas or Pueblo, Colorado
