Position Overview

The video analyst intern will assist the performance staff of the Seattle Seawolves. This role will work independently and as part of a team to record, edit, and organize film to assist with all facets of performance analysis (tactical analysis, opposition analysis, and live streaming).

Primary Responsibilities

Film home matches and training sessions
Perform live and post-match tagging as specified by coaching staff
Edit team video for tactical meetings
Assist in developing dossiers for opposition analysis reports for upcoming opponents
Categorize individual and team player profile video databases
Assist in the strength and conditioning & sport science departments when requested
Perform routine technology maintenance as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

Coaching or playing experience preferred, ideally within the sport of rugby
Knowledge or experience using a video analysis platform a plus (Sportscode, etc)
Experience using video editing software (Adobe, etc) a plus
Ability to manage multiple video cameras and/or fly a drone
Ability to occasionally work non-traditional hours
Proficiency with Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and familiarity with dashboarding software (Tableau, Power BI, Excel, etc.) a plus

Work Environment

Pay: $15/Hour

Part-Time (15-20 Hours/Week), Seasonal

Duration: November-July

Schedule: Varied, Weekdays (Mornings/Afternoons) & Home Games (Saturday or Sunday Evenings).

Requires working regularly outdoors and may require standing for long periods of time, as well as lifting of up to 50 pounds.
