Internship Details:
We are searching for driven and motivated individuals to join our Creative Strategy team for 
the Spring semester. The internship will be 4 months long with a start date of January 13, 2020.

We prefer candidates that can spend 3-5 days a week with us. This is an unpaid internship; 
however, we offer college credit and a travel stipend. 

Department Description:
The Creative Strategy Team works closely with Business Development, Production and Design 
to develop strategic, innovative, brand-relevant event and activation responses to RFPs and 
ultimately win business for the agency. The ideal candidate has had exposure to experiential 
marketing and/or event production with prior experience in ideation, visual storytelling, copy 
writing.  Experience with developing strategic, innovative campaigns, as well as graphic design 
skills are a major plus.

Responsibilities Include: 
  • You will participate in brainstorming sessions and aid in the development of creative ideas for new programs 
  • You will conduct research on program needs (e.g., venues, permits, supplies) and help create budgets for potential programs 
  • You will help create presentation decks and leave-behind materials based on the brand(s) & the brand guidelines 
  • You will help apply creative layout solutions to presentation slides 
  • You will assist Client Partnership lead with copywriting to accurately bring ideas and strategic approach to life 
  • You will help identify the correct font and imagery that works best with the idea/brand/pitch 
  • You will help maintain contact lists of new business leads 
  • You will stay abreast of cultural and industry trends through industry, vendor and competitive research

  • You are interested in brand research and understanding different industries 
  • You have a sharp eye for layout design and awareness of design trends 
  • You have the ability to build creative and unique ideas 
  • You have consistent willingness to go above and beyond for project deliverables 
  • You have knowledge of Keynote and PowerPoint 
  • You are involved on your college campus – whether in admissions, student activities, 
sports or philanthropy – and are passionate about contributing to your community   

Qualifications:
  • You are currently in pursuit of a college degree (Undergraduate or Graduate) 
  • You must be able to receive college credit for the internship 
  • You embody characteristics of the CSM Way
