BASIC FUNCTION: Assists with the day-to-day functions of the High Performance Department with a focus on athlete anti-doping responsibilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Anti-Doping

Assist Associate Director in managing the quarterly USATF/USADA OOC Testing Pool.
Liaison with USADA education team to provide educational opportunities for athletes.
Generate communication for athletes providing updates on whereabouts, education, etc.
Manage contracts and testing requests for Masters, MUT, and Junior championships.
Assist Associate Director in ensuring compliance with AIU/WA anti-doping requirements.
Serve as technical delegate for championships in the absence of Associate Director.

High Performance

Assist high performance team in management of athlete/committee travel and reimbursements.
Maintain files and organization as necessary for various high-performance programs.
Help create procedures and practices within the department to promote efficient workflows.
Handle miscellaneous projects and other duties as assigned for programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor’s degree is required.
At least 1-2 years’ experience in compliance and/or athlete relations.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively and handle conflict resolution in a professional manner.
Demonstrated ability to organize information and present it in a clear and concise manner.
Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Detail oriented with a solid work ethic.
Must be flexible to changing priorities and needs.
Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and be fully vaccinated for COVID 19.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to stand long periods of time while at events.
NON-PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Some travel to events throughout the year.
