Account Executive, Ticket Sales
Location: Nashville, TN (UPSHOT) | Augusta, GA | Mobile, AL | Greensboro, NC
Position Summary
Zawyer Sports & Entertainment is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Account Executive to help build and engage our fan base for Zawyer Sports. As part of the Zawyer Sports sales team, this individual will play a critical role in driving ticket revenue and delivering an exceptional fan experience.
As a key member of the sales team, you will drive revenue and generate excitement by selling full and partial season ticket packages, group outings, and entry-level corporate partnerships to individuals and businesses. This role also includes servicing current ticket holders and delivering an exceptional fan experience from day one.
In addition to representing Zawyer Sports locally, the selected candidate will contribute to revenue generation efforts across Zawyer Sports' broader portfolio of teams and properties. This role offers exposure to multiple brands and business models across the Zawyer footprint.
About Zawyer Sports & Entertainment
Zawyer Sports & Entertainment owns and operates the Jacksonville Icemen, Savannah Ghost Pirates, Charlotte Checkers, Mobile Pro Hockey, Gastonia Ghost Peppers, the Community First Igloo, The UPSHOT League (a new professional women's basketball league), and its first four teams: Jacksonville Waves, Savannah Steel, Greensboro Groove, and Charlotte Crown. The organization also includes 32 Degrees Marketing, a full-service marketing agency.
Additionally, Zawyer Sports consults on operations for the Tahoe Knight Monsters, Augusta Lynx Hockey, and Ghost Pirates Ice Cove. Founded in 2018 by Andy Kaufmann, Zawyer Sports & Entertainment is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida.
Key Responsibilities
• Make 70+ outbound contacts daily via phone, email, text, and in-person to sell:
• Full and partial season ticket packages
• Group tickets
• Individual game tickets
• Entry-level corporate partnerships
• Handle inbound calls and inquiries for ticket sales and customer service.
• Actively prospect new business through networking, referrals, social platforms, and research.
• Conduct in-person sales presentations, arena tours, and off-site appointments.
• Staff sales tables and community events to promote ticket packages and drive leads.
• Maintain detailed records of all interactions using CRM software.
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly individual sales goals.
• Assist in the renewal process and servicing of existing accounts.
• Build lasting relationships with clients through exceptional service and communication.
• Help build and grow a strong sales pipeline through creative prospecting and outreach.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to help shape sales strategies, processes, and best practices as the organization grows.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required.
• A passion for the sports industry and a strong desire to grow professionally.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Willingness to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with all internal and external contacts.
• Support a positive sales culture within the sales team, as well as the entire front office.

• Brings energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to building the fan base for Zawyer Sports.
Game & Event Responsibilities
• Expected to attend and work all Zawyer Sports games and related events.
• Interact with clients and prospects at games via seat visits, networking, and sales tables.
• Assist with the development and execution of in-game promotions and fan experiences.
• Play an active role in creating a best-in-class game day atmosphere.
