As a key member of the Consulting team, the Director of Analytics & Insights (A&I) will lead our effort to leverage various data to both drive our agency forward and bolster the performance of our clients.


·       Responsible for directing CSM’s research solutions/resources, both to drive thought leadership externally and to fortify the innovative work we do for our clients
·       Lead collaboration with the client teams to help develop and present research and insights that advance the goals of our clients
·       Special focus on helping the Business Development team craft POV documents for their sales efforts
·       Responsible for overseeing CSM’s relationships with secondary research subscriptions and how they can be used by our client strategy teams and internally to drive new business 
·       Oversee and evolve CSM’s primary research initiatives and products
·       Design and analyze new quantitative and qualitative research, including consumer surveys, focus groups, and in-depth interviews
·       Lead the team’s collaboration across CSM’s global enterprise to design and deliver forward-thinking studies/ whitepapers that supports the CSM thought-leadership position
·       Manage relationships with research and technology vendors and seek out new partnerships that enhance our offering to clients 
·       Communicate and present information and results that allow CSM to make recommendations across all levels of an organization, but especially to senior management within a client’s research and brand strategy teams
·       Manage and motivate CSM staff by crafting supportive educational pieces about the trends and happenings of the sports industry
·       Responsible for day-to-day management of one or more direct reports, guiding their review and development planning at CSM. Support the achievement of their individual goals and career aspirations that are aligned with CSM’s business strategy

·       Research and insights executive with 8+ years of relevant business experience preferably at an agency or a brand, with direct experience translating data into business-driving insights, trends and learnings 
·       The ability to synthesize research and data into a clear narrative that resonates with brand marketers
·       Experience creating and managing primary research projects internally to drive thought leadership and externally for clients
·       Digitally fluent, especially for building forward-thinking content and driving innovation into the agency’s overall A&I offering
·       A distinct ability to summarize complex information for audiences with various levels of data-analytics experience
·       Relationships with best-in-class research companies
·       Advanced statistical analysis experience (i.e. SPSS, R) used in research, predictive analytics, business intelligence and data management 
·       Ability to mentor and inspire people for maximum impact
·       Entrepreneurial, creatively inquisitive and passionate about data, research and global sport 
·       Ability to drive complex projects to completion while exhibiting a strong attention to detail
·       Excellent interpersonal, written communication and presentation skills
·       Experience working in varied global markets is desirable  
·       Ability to forecast obstacles and create solutions in a collaborative team-oriented environment
·       Thrive in a fast-paced dynamic work environment demonstrating flexibility and the ability to excel in pressure situations 
·       Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
·       Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related Master’s degree preferred
·       Must possess a strong work ethic, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, have a sense of humor – and like to have fun!
