About Us:
SPIRE Institute & Academy (IA) is a comprehensive academic, athletic, personal skills and career development experience located within a world class event and wellness complex. Constructed on nearly 500 acres with more than 750,000 sq. ft. under roof, SPIRE (www.spireinstitute.org) encompasses four divisions: SPIRE Academy, an accredited college preparatory international boarding school and multi-sport/specialty training and development academy for 9-12 graders and a post grad program; SPIRE Institute, the research and development arm studying performance improvement across multiple disciplines; SPIRE Events, a facility and team that hosts local, national and international tournaments and events with the NCAA, the Big East, Big Ten and Atlantic 10 conferences, Olympic trials and world championship qualifiers; and SPIRE Fit, a community membership-based fitness, swim and health center open to the public. Sports currently featured on campus include swimming, track and field, basketball, esports, drone racing, wrestling and lacrosse.
 
Overview: 
Responsible for recruitment of Academy and Camp students, and management and growth of Independent Representatives (IR), integrity of reservations and maximization of IR/SPIRE relationship.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
OUTREACH & RECRUITMENT
  • Prospect potential Academy student and camp customers through daily phone calls, email or other outreach strategies
  • Work closely with the admissions and marketing teams, and the sports directors, to support effective strategies for increasing enrollment
  • Host tours with prospective families, teams, groups 
  • Demonstrate selling skills and product knowledge in all areas of Academy and Camp programs
  • Represent SPIRE at national and International private school/boarding events and competitions 
  • Develop and display appropriate marketing and sales tools throughout SPIRE, at events away from SPIRE, and be available during events to promote SPIRE academy, camps and events
  • Assist in developing and executing sales and marketing plans designed to grow business for academy, camps and representatives
  • Responsible for achieving sales targets while focusing on retention of student athletes and family satisfaction
  • Communicate job expectations and work with the admission team to put action plans in effect to achieve sales revenue
  • Streamline processes, prepare accurate pipeline reports and work collectively to reach enrollment goals
 
INDEPENDENT REPRESENTATIVE NETWORK DEVELOPMENT
  • Grow an Independent Representative (IR) network in key marketplaces through the signing of representatives that align with SPIRE’s goals and values
  • Follow up with all IRs providing updates, support and education on all SPIRE developments and pertinent communication.
  • Partner with marketing to ensure all sales tools and future IR web pages are updated
  • All duties related to account management of IRs 

Knowledge, Skills and Ability
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing or related field
  • 2-3 years’ experience in sales
  • General knowledge of sports
  • Demonstrated track record of sales volume
  • Experience with cold calling, following up on all leads and generating pipelines
  • Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and execute outreach plans.
  • Multi-Lingual a plus
  • Working knowledge of the rules and regulations of student-athlete recruiting
