Position Description
This is an entry-level position that will support the promotion of U.S. Soccer events, content, and the Insider fan program with the goal of increasing awareness and driving revenue. As U.S. Soccer embraces a fan-centric approach built on personalization, the coordinator will be expected to create and manage programmatic campaigns powered by customer data/previous engagement. As such, candidates will require a thorough understanding of the most up-to-date marketing technologies and programmatic platforms. This position also has a heavy emphasis on creative asset management and integrated marketing and thus will be closely linked with the Marketing team to help develop and execute the integrated promotions plan, manage creative requests, and distribute assets. The position also relies on close coordination with product owners from other departments to ensure proper alignment and timing (Events, Communications, Retail, Fan Services). There also will be a light emphasis on campaign analytics as well as organic social analytics. 

Primary Responsibilities
  • Program and manage targeted campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels (email, push, paid search, paid social, display, and partner channels) that drive incremental revenue
  • Manage creative requests for promotional campaigns and maximize efficiency with graphic design and video teams
  • Work with stakeholders from Brand, Communications, and Analytics to maintain cohesive messaging and reinforce brand narratives built on fan research
  • Deliver regular reports on campaign performance that inform the budget process and identify successful/unsuccessful tactics – leveraging UTM parameters and the paid social platforms
  • Tag all U.S. Soccer social content daily to support the organization with social media insights within our social analytic software
  • Grow U.S. Soccer’s YouTube presence with optimization best practices and more timely/regular publishing
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • First-hand experience executing programmatic campaigns (paid social, paid search, and display)
  • Proficient in Excel (must know conditional formulas)
  • Deep curiosity in modern marketing technology and using business intelligence to drive decisions
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented working style conducive to programmatic advertising 
  • Copywriting experience, or experience writing for a public-facing channel
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritize workflow
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills
  • Full-time position, 40+ hour work week
  • Some travel may be required
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience generating segments and building journeys via a Customer Data Platform (CDP) or Orchestration tool
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape, particularly as it pertains to publisher and advertising trends
  • Experience using social media measurement/listening tools
  • Proficient in Tableau
  • Ability to assess business drivers and identify opportunities
  • Passion for soccer and a solid understanding of the soccer landscape in the United States
