Position Description
The Associate, Video Production will support bringing U.S. Soccer’s brand narrative and Federation stories to life through visual mediums. This individual will work on all aspects of the U.S. Soccer video production team and will offer experience throughout U.S. Soccer programming, including but not limited to the U.S. Women’s and Men’s National Teams, Youth National Teams, Extended National Teams and other Federation programming. We are looking for a young and versatile visual storyteller, with an emphasis on editing, finishing, and delivering a wide variety of content. 



Primary Responsibilities
  • Edit and deliver videos for various Federation platforms, including internal programs such as Development, Sponsorship, or Sporting Performance, and U.S. Soccer’s national teams
  • Catalog footage to help maintain USSF’s archival storage library
  • Fulfill footage requests for broadcasters, partners, and media
  • Participate in live game coverage either on-site or remotely
  • Conceptualize and edit short-form video content, with an emphasis on social media
  • Support other aspects of the video and content department, including occasional shoots and travel and other administrative duties

Minimum Qualifications 
  • Strong video editing skills with an advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere (or equivalent NLE)
  • Experience in other Adobe applications, notably After Effects
  • Quick learner who can function in the fast-paced environment mandated by professional sports
  • Able and willing to travel up to 20% 
  • Able and willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience producing high-level sports videos 
  • Impetus to push forward U.S. Soccer’s style and voice while staying within the boundaries of its brand guidelines and workflows
  • Experience with digital cinema cameras, sound, and lighting techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of the international soccer landscape
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
