Position Overview: Georgia Tech Division of Athletics and The Aspire Group seek a teachable, positive and passionate individual who is committed to utilizing the most innovative and creative sales processes in the college sports space. Sales Consultant’s revenue will be generated primarily from outbound text messages, emails and phone calls. These connections will be supplemented with email marketing, face-to-face presentations and in-arena/stadium tours. Day-to-day leadership and mentoring of this position will be provided by the Aspire Leadership.  Sales Consultants will receive the tools, programs, and systems necessary to "BE GREAT."
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Revenue generation:
-Tickets & associated TECH Fund contribution.
-Cultivation and solicitation of annual donors.
-Retaining and growing annual donations.
-Ability to embrace and leverage technology.
-Firm grasp of individual sales and marketing processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Ability to build and maintain trust through relationship sales.  
  • Provide concierge service to our most important constituents, our fans.
  • Work well with multiple departments including Development, Ticket Operations, Facilities and the Administrative Staff.
  • Be prepared to sell on behalf of the Athletics Department & The Aspire Group.
  • Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within the ticketing database.
  • Make a minimum of 30 connections (conversations) with fans daily.
  • Make up to 100 calls a day.
  • Availability to work Athletic events including home games and special events. Reps are expected to work games/events during each calendar year.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Desire to start and grow a career in the sports ticket sales industry or collegiate athletics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management or related field.
  • Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail oriented.
  • Previous customer service or retail sales experience; display a genuine desire to help people.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills.
  • Professional image and demeanor.
  • Ability to work well with others and comfortable taking initiative.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
  • Ticket sales and development experience not required but preferred.
