Overview-
As an integral member of the Spurs Sports & Entertainment Marketing Department, this position is responsible for supporting marketing functions for the San Antonio Spurs including, but not limited to, ticket marketing (Individual, Group & Season Tickets, etc.), as well as collaborating on various marketing projects and processes throughout the organization.  This position will also be responsible for scheduling Event Marketing & Grassroots Opportunities for the entire Spurs Sports & Entertainment brand portfolio.

Responsibilities-
  • Lead Event Marketing & Grassroots efforts for SS&E business units while ensuring the timely collection of data, management of organizational efforts and community brand engagement.
  • Oversee, train and hire SS&E Street Team staff to ensure consistent brand presence at Event Marketing & Grassroots opportunities.
  • Assist Spurs Marketing Team with ticket marketing revenue generation efforts across Individual, Group, Season & Premium Concentrations.
  • Manage and support special marketing projects as assigned (Hype Team Auditions, Theme Nights, etc.) including the development of Marketing Plans, Recaps & Communication Strategies. 
  • Develop and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders to achieve strategic marketing goals and objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications-  
  • Four-year degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications.
  •  1-2 years’ experience in related field
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and other computer skills required
  •  Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, proactively problem solve and be highly organized
  •  Ability to work long, flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  •  Ability to lift 30lbs. 
  •  Possess a clean driving record in order to operate company-owned vehicles
