Overall Purpose: 
Oversee day to day Pelicans Ticket Operations responsibilities, including timely sales order processing, staff management and scheduling, and revenue collections. Become a Seat Geek Unify Ticket System expert to train sales and service account representatives. Assist Pelicans Director Ticket Operations with high-level department projects such as annual renewal and playoff invoicing, various reporting, daily inventory management, building ticket events and ticket promotion offers. Help with execution of Saints Ticket Operations responsibilities as needed. 

Specific duties include, but are not limited to: 
  • Oversee day to day sales order processing and workload of Pelicans Ticket Ops coordinator and seasonal associate 
  • Become Seat Geek Unify Ticket System expert to assist sales and service managers and representatives with any ticket operations questions such as customer account invoicing and payment breakdowns, refunds, pulling various reports 
  • Own revenue collections processes…schedule when plans are run, run reports of underpaid customers, shut off/drop tickets when appropriate, and follow up with sales reps on manual payment plans 
  • Assist Pelicans Director of Ticket Operations with 
    • Managing ticketing pre-sale and on-sale timelines, ticket availabilities 
    • Building ticketed/GA events with proper variable pricing components 
    • Annual renewal and playoff invoicing build out 
    • Daily inventory management 
    • Gameday loaded ticket barcode uploads 
    • Managing which seats belong to which plan type in ticketing hierarchy; ensure price codes are correct (season vs. group, etc) 
    • Execution of ticket scanning and barcoding with access control partner Fortress 
    • Execution of mobile ticketing and parking 
    • Running daily staff briefing meetings 
    • Pulling Monthly Sales Staff Commissions 
  • Gameday Responsibilities 
    • Work with Box Office Coordinator on gameday staffing 
    • Serve in rotation with Director of Ticket Operations and Box Office Coordinator as Manager on Duty in Box Office on game/event days 
    • Assist Box Office representatives with resolving customer ticketing inquires such as ADA ticket swaps, tickets not properly scanning into the building, walk up ticket purposes, locating tickets left at will call 
    • Uploading loaded ticket barcode files 
    • Pull halftime attendance and budget reporting 
  • Oversee management of ticket and parking boca stock both during season and in preparation for upcoming regular season and playoffs 
  • Process sales orders and other various ticketing related requests such as ticket buybacks, ticket swaps, ticket redemption vouchers as needed to eliminated backing up of order queue
  • Help with execution of Saints Ticket Operations responsibilities as needed
  • Coordinate training for new sales reps and ongoing refreshers for others 
  • Provide daily report at end of day to VP of Ticket Sales on all team’s activities 
  • Set a positive and uplifting tone/culture throughout the Ticket Operations group 
  • Serve as primary contact for internal ticket requests (staff, CR, PR, Marketing, Media, Visiting Teams, NBA, etc) 
  • Perform Daily ticket operations functions 
  • Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly in accordance with NBA schedule, which will include some late nights and weekends, particularly during the season 

  • 4 year college degree 
  • Proven track record of detail orientation is absolutely critical 
  • A strong and intimate working knowledge of Ticketing System functionality is preferred but not required 
  • Great organizational and interpersonal skills for handling internal customers as well as customer gameday experience 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook 
  • Ability to work effectively and independently on multiple projects 
  • Must be able to take direction and work well with others 
  • Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines 
  • Must be able to react to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned 

Working Conditions:
  • Typical office environment 
  • Must be able to sit and work at a computer 80% of the day 
  • Must be able to work extended hours, holidays, nights, and weekends 
  • Occasionally move general office equipment or supplies up to 20 pounds
