Ticket Operations: Ticket Operations
This position acts under the supervision of the Ticket Operations Manager. This position will assist with the day to day needs of the Saints and Pelicans Ticket Operations Department, along with a very strong emphasis on the department’s Ticket Financial Accounting needs.
Essential job functions:
  • Handle daily deposits for all money collected by the Saints and Pelicans Ticket Department
  • Coordinates with Saints and Pelicans’ Accounting Departments to provide daily and monthly reporting for all money collected
  • Coordinates with Saints and Pelicans’ Accounting Departments on annual/semi-annual NFL, NBA, and internal financial audits as it relates to ticketing
  • Monitor all ticket accounts for past due balances, declined auto-plan charges, chargebacks, and NSF Checks, and coordinate collection efforts with Service department reps
  • Handles post event settlements and verification of part-time ticket sellers’ collected money on game days
  • Maintain ticketing department's money safe/vault, both in the office and at each team’s respective stadiums, to ensure all money is in order and accounted for at all times
  • Works very closely with Saints and Pelicans’ Premium Seating Department to assist with its Ticket Operations needs, including suite order processing
  • Handles processing of all Saints and Pelicans season/plan ticket sales orders and requests as needed
  • Assists with the maintenance of all accounts with regards to accounts’ financial details
  • Assists in the overall operation of the Saints and Pelicans Will Call/Sales windows on all game days
  • Assists in all other areas of ticket operations department as needed
Qualifications:
  • 4 year college degree
  • Consistent record of being detailed oriented is critical
  • Strong knowledge of ticketing systems/software (minimum of 2 to 4 years preferred)
  • Prior accounting work or similar experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated great interpersonal and social skills for handling internal customers as well as customers on game day
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook, along with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work effectively and independently on multiple projects
  • Must be able to take direction and work well with others
  • Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines
  • Must be able to react to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned
  • Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly in accordance with NFL and NBA schedules, which will include some late nights and weekends, particularly during the respective seasons

Working conditions:
  • Typical office environment
  • Must be able to sit and work at a computer 80% of the day
  • Must be able to work extended hours, holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Occasionally move general office equipment or supplies up to 20 pounds
