Overall Job Purpose

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for properly performing accounting tasks for box office reporting, NBA/NFL annual reporting, financial statement audit reporting, internal budget reporting, and assistance with the monthly close process.


Primary Responsibilities

·Review and submission of NBA and NFL box office statements

·Preparation of NBA and NFL annual revenue reporting

·Coordination with external and NBA/NFL auditors and oversight of process

·Preparation and monitoring of team departmental budgets

·Quarterly coordination with other departments on review of budgets

·Monitoring and reporting of budget to actual results as part of financial statement close process

·General Ledger (GL) system- Assist with preparing monthly journal entries for the GL close each month

·Year-end Financial Audit- Assist with providing information to external auditors during audit

·Assist with other projects as deemed necessary


Requirements

·College Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred

·4+ years experience in accounting

·Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word efficiently and effectively

·Excellent attention to detail

·Strong organizational skills

·Ability to work at a fast pace and consistently meet all deadlines

·Ability to work productively and effectively at all times
