Facility Operations/Event Staff: Game Day/Event Staff
The Operations Game Day/Training Camp Staff is a part-time seasonal position for the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans Business and Marketing Operations Department. The purpose of this position is to assist in the planning, coordination, and management of all New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans affiliated events. This position will assist with any tasks needed to manage and organize the various events. 


Responsibilities/Duties
  • Assist the Operations Department with operational and logistical needs to effectively and efficiently manage a professional football or basketball affiliated event
  • Contribute to the coordination and execution of facility setup, break down, and clean up associated with various team affiliated events. This will include Mini Camp, Training Camp, a full set-up day prior to each New Orleans Saints home game (including playoffs), and New Orleans Saints and Pelicans home games (including playoffs)
  • Ensure proper adherence to the credentialing system for all events, particularly on the field/court level
  • Aid in the setup and break down of all interior and exterior activations for each event
  • Assist with various customer service elements as instructed
  • Provide assistance with special projects and events as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned

Skills/Proficiencies – Desired candidates should possess:
  • Experience with a sports team, athletic department, and/or event operations (preferred but not required)
  • Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills 
  • Dedication, strong work ethic, and self-motivation
  • Outstanding leadership and time management skills
  • Superior communication, responsiveness, and technological skills 
  • Flexibility to work various hours including holidays and weekends
  • Capable of lifting 25+ pounds 
  • Must be able to provide own housing and transportation
