Accounting and Finance: Financial/Data Analyst
The Business Intelligence Associate (Data Operation Focused) will play an important role in Business Analytics projects that support Data Warehouse Operation, Data Integration, Database Health, Data Quality and other related areas for both the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans. This is a part-time/intern position with an immediate start date. 
Primary Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but are not limited to: 
  • Build reports and dashboards to monitor and analyze data warehouse performance in order to provide fast responses to front-end users
  • Build reports and dashboards to monitor and analyze the quality of data in the data warehouse in order to provide sufficient and effective support to the Sales and Marketing campaigns
  • Support ETL projects that integrate various data sources into the data warehouse
  • Document and build visual of conceptual architecture for each database in the data warehouse
  • Build and document SQL queries, views and/or SQL examples that provide support to the Business Intelligence team
  • Other projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):
  • Must be a college student in their advanced Junior or Senior year, recent graduate, or pursuing a master’s degree
  • Degree focus in Database Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Highly self-motivated individual with excellent teamwork spirit
  • Ability to focus on understanding and solving business problems
  • Proven strong knowledge and skills in SQL and Database Management
  • Superior attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced SQL coding skills and experience
  • Proven Data Integration experience is a plus
  • Tableau experience is a plus
Working Conditions:
  • Typical office environment
  • Must be able to sit and work at a computer 80% of the day
  • Working schedule/hours will ebb and flow with NFL/NBA schedule, and will include working some late hours, holidays, nights, and weekends
