Position Overview: The VP, Global Partnership Strategy & International Development directs the strategy and development of partner-related business objectives. Key focus towards partner activities impacting both the sales and services groups. Leads organizational efforts to increase partner integration with all Monumental brands with focus on ideation of platforms to drive partner engagement and organizational revenue. Additional focus to be placed on amplifying Monumental Sports’ portfolio of International-based partnerships.
  • Proactively identify innovative ways to create value for Global Partners, ongoing creative marketing and implementation opportunities for current and potential new partners, including retail activation, in-arena promotion, digital, special events and community outreach
  • Work with the Global Partnership sales team to ideate and grow relationships with new & current partners.
  • Works with other MSE departments to identify initiatives where partners can be integrated in order maximize revenues.
  • Drive the conceptualization and delivery of collaborative marketing and promotional platforms for all Global Partners and potential prospect.
  • Create and develop new platforms for Partners to brand, engage, and activate.
  • Examine industry-wide best practices and new ideas for adoption.
  • Focus efforts and develop relationships with international based organizations.
  • Host & meet with key constituents at various Embassies based in DC.
  • Plan & execute key international touch points for various Monumental properties.
  • Develop content and ideation for Global Partner Summits.
  • Build social media & digital strategy to attract international clients.
  • Set timeline and checklist for key department business efforts.
  • Manage projects and workflow to ensure execution of all partner elements and activities.
  • Work with leagues and international agencies to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop Global Partner communication assets; including Partner Newsletters and Spotlights.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10 plus years of sports industry experience related field.
  • 10 plus years of experience focused within International Business development.
  • Prior experience in sales, promotions, and marketing is required.
  • Measurable experience in ideation & development of partnership platforms.
  • Successful track-record of working with international businesses.
  • Must be innovative, hard-working, and enthusiastic.
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage business relationships in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work nights/weekends/flexible schedule.
