Position Overview:
The Director, Strategic Media Partnerships will work closely with the Global Partnership team to develop and execute a strategy to grow media revenue across current media platforms at Monumental Sports & Entertainment and its subsidiaries. This position will focus on the development of media offerings.

Responsibilities: 
  • Develop comprehensive media offerings inclusive of Monumental’s owned media packages including Monumental Sports Network (MSN), By the Book Sports Betting Show, Game Day Radio, Digital Radio, & OOH.
  • Lead strategy and collaboration efforts with Monumental’s Regional Sports Network partner NBCSW to maximize revenue & growth alignment.
  • Collaborate with MSE media partners to identify, build and package sellable media assets that meet marketing guidelines.
  • Promote analytics and audience insights to improve media data story during the sales process.
  • Advocate and establish media’s role in the greater partnership.
  • Build case studies, category decks and custom media sales collateral to showcase the value and capabilities of MSE media opportunities.
  • Proactively conceptualize and recommend relevant cross-platform media packages to prospects and partners.
  • Strategize integrated media opportunities such as product placement and features with MSN and the productions team.
  • Discuss media pricing and field media buying inquiries from prospects and agencies.
  • Analyze performance tracking and benchmarking analytics for all media asset partners.
  • Lead storytelling, recapping and reporting for media campaigns for key partners.
  • Provide regular updates and key internal metrics with global partnership team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of brand strategy experience at a brand, agency, media network or firm with experience in media solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of media ecosystem, emerging media, and industry terminology.
  • Extensive understanding of media metrics & analytics associated with media analysis.
  • Proficiency in rate card and inventory development, trafficking and reporting.
  • Experience developing successful brand campaigns from start to finish.
  • Passionate about the pitch process and conceptualizing; developing narratives to support a brand’s objectives.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and public speaking.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
