Position Overview:
The Director, Franchise Partnerships Sales is responsible for generating significant incremental sponsorship revenue in order to achieve sales goals for Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s enterprise properties including the Washington Mystics, Capital City Go-Go, Wizards District Gaming, and Caps Gaming.

Responsibilities: 
  • Actively secure new sponsorship revenue by means of heavy prospecting and closing engaging partnerships with focus on Monumental’s Franchise & esports properties.
  • Daily cold calling targeting businesses located in the Greater Washington region.
  • Offer solutions to prospective partners rooted in traditional sponsorship assets, digital programming, activation, and community programs centered around the Mystics, Go-Go, & Monumental esports properties.
  • Work with Strategy & Development group to build ideal mix of marketing elements to meet client objectives.
  • Work with Partnership Marketing Group to ensure accounts are being efficiently serviced by coordinating the implementation of partnership packages.
  • Provide added focus towards emerging local businesses & other currently untapped business communities in the area.
  • Host prospects & assume gameday responsibilities at Mystics & Go-Go home games. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of partnerships sales experience.
  • Experience selling digital and media assets a plus.
  • You should be a strategic problem solver.
  • Ability develop and maintain corporate relationships, with senior level managers and clients.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexible schedule - availability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
