Food and Beverage: Food/Beverage Management
As the Director of Food & Beverage Services, you will oversee all food and beverage operations at Sports Force Parks locations and contribute to the growth and profitability of the business. This will include developing a team of managers and hourly employees, establishing processes and standards for retail, food and beverage operations, and helping foster and grow a culture consistent with our corporate mission of Sports. Required Skills & Responsibilities 
As Director of Food & Beverage Services you will: 
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all company retail, convenience store, food & beverage operations with the goal of creating processes to scale. 
  • Set policies and direction for all the local, on-site food and beverage general managers. 
  • Develop staffing guidelines – Hire, manage, and scale retail, food & beverage senior management team. 
  • Develop and lead strategies to deliver and measure remarkable customer experiences, company wide. 
  • Establish operational processes and standards; implement audit processes and lead correctional efforts when and where needed. 
  • Develop and lead training programs in food, beverage, and retail services. 
  • Develop pre-opening and on-going OS&E budgets and selections criteria. 
  • Oversee all security, facilities, technology and cleaning services related to food and beverage operations. 
  • Directly accountable for overall departmental budgets and profitability. 
  • Develop financial objectives consistent with Company objectives. Participate in business plan development and capital expenditure budget approval process. 
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, cost control, and maintenance of food service equipment. 
  • Maintain all existing profitable programs and assist in overall management and 
  • Implementation of developed concepts that ensure the highest possible quality of food service. 
  • Establish and administer, within corporate policy, an effective system for cash, inventory, and payroll and yield control. 
  • Oversee and manage fulfillment of all partner and/or vendor agreements. 
  • Responsible for instituting and overseeing necessary distribution, purchasing, receiving, and waste management processes throughout all operating units of the department. 
  • Coordinate all training and motivational programs with the HR department, to maximize the work experience of all employees. 
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed by all operating units. 
  • Ensure highly productive vendor/customer relationships and partnerships for the benefit of the company. 
  • Set goals, monitor operations and evaluate results to ensure that departmental and operational objectives are met and in line with the needs and mission of the organization. 

Education & Experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited College or University majoring in Food Service/ Hospitality Management. 
  • At least 5 years of senior management responsibly operating a successful event based multi-unit food/beverage and retail business on a regional or national level with heavy emphasis on new multi-unit operations openings and profit/loss/financial knowledge and results. 
  • Strong communications and operational expertise. 
  • 2+ leadership experience as General Manager or Director of Operations in multi-unit retail or food & beverage business -- experience in opening multiple venues is preferred. 
  • Strong commitment to service and hospitality excellence. 
  • Ability to think strategically and develop a long term vision while also getting involved in operational details, and the ability to drive tactical execution. 
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
