The Production Manager oversees onsite production support and management for entertainment acts and the venue. Coordinates internal / external production aspects of entertainment (i.e. advancing / obtaining presale technical information – production needs, rider requirements, staging and capacity changes) and event payments 

  • Manages all Band tech riders and advancing production needs for shows
  • Handles all rental sourcing needs
  • Provides management and oversight of all sound/lighting gear onsite
  • Create staff schedule and books additional staff as needed
  • Coordinates artist vehicles and load ins and load outs
  • Responsible for  all production calls  and meetings
  • Develops and manages all weather contingency plans
  • Conducts all sound checks with bands
  • Liaison with local contractors, vendors and tours 
  • Helps identify potential tours and shows and assist with negotiating contracts and technical requirements 
  • Manage approved subcontractors and third party vendors to ensure safe, efficient and successful events 
  •  Responsible for all A/V and entertainment inventory, perform audits and assist with forecasting equipment needs and planning projects 
  • Stays current with audio, video and lighting trends for live events and recommend new and innovative equipment to improve the quality and efficiency of productions 
  • Provides technical and operational expertise in all facets for the property 
  • Ensures adherence to time schedules, sound restrictions and cost containments 
  • Ensures safe operation of equipment such as forklifts, lifts and rigging 
  • Three to six years’ experience in music or live production or related field a must. 
  • Four to six years of experience as a Production Manager, promoter rep, road manager or event coordinator or an equivalent combination.
  • General venue operations knowledge required.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
