Mission: 
Support the Director, Player Development and Director Minor League Operations in the day to day operations of the minor league, player development and high performance teams including office management, immigration support, and management of player and staff per diems in such a way that supports the Toronto Blue Jays development commitment and contributes to the goal of bringing the World Series back to Canada

Reports To:  
Director, Player Development & Director, Minor League Operations

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage processing of immigration applications for United States, Canada, and Dominican Republic in conjunction with legal team
  • Assist with Dunedin complex based purchasing & Player Development Contract reimbursement for certain Player Development and High Performance orders
  • Manages and owns minor league teams Player Development Contract reimbursements
  • Manage and administer staff and player per diems and rental car bookings during spring training, extended spring training, Gulf Coast League, and off-season programs  
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance our process for per diem distribution and cash management
  • Manage Dunedin housing for players and staff during spring training, extended spring training, Gulf Coast League, and off-season programs  
  • Collaborate with Director, Minor League Operations to identify and pursue optimal long term housing solutions for players and staff in Dunedin and at all Blue Jays minor league affiliate work places
  • Lead the management of travel/bussing for extended spring training, Gulf Coast league, and off-season programs
  • Manage and update player and staff roster information for all Dunedin based development programs  
  • Manage system for all in-season player travel, including oversight of support at affiliates
  • Additional support and oversight of administrative tasks required at Dunedin training complex, including expense and corporate AMEX processing
  • Manage and support Dunedin based player development and high performance intern.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • 3-5 years of office management experience 
  • 1-3 years of people management experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Immigration administration experience strongly preferred 
  • Expert in information processing 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Oracle
  • Strong experience in managing administrative and operational systems  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player with a desire to work in a highly competitive environment
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Willingness to relocate to greater Tampa, FL area
