THE ROLE   

This role will support the larger work of the Ohio State Engagement Center by overseeing a portfolio of strategic marketing, collateral, and process enhancement projects. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the strategy and operations intern will be responsible for developing requirements and executing strategy projects to deepen the relationship constituents have with Ohio State. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and will gain experience in higher education fundraising, project management, design, marketing, and business operations.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  •  Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute key strategy and operation projects.
  •  Develop project requirements with cross-functional teams and confirm scope.
  •  Ability to execute complex projects on time and within scope.
  •  Monitor ongoing progress of projects, provide status updates, facilitate meetings, document requirements, remain in communication with leadership about any roadblocks.
  • Facilitate approval process for project assets

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with higher education fundraising and strategy
  • Knowledge of higher education marketing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Ability to multitask and take initiative
  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
  • Design experience a plus
  • Project or Program Management experience a plus
