An operating division within Legends, CSL specializes in the market and financial evaluation of sports, music and other assembly facilities. With more than 2,000 engagements, CSL has become the silent force behind the success of many of the world’s best-known sports, entertainment and public venues.  Delving deep into market data and leveraging our diverse experience working across sports and entertainment our consulting leaders have the insight to solve difficult problems and put together a data-driven plan for a new or redeveloped stadium, arena, ballpark, amphitheater, attraction, convention center and other such public assembly facilities.



The Analyst, with guidance from project managers and senior executives, will be responsible for researching, writing and presenting feasibility studies for clients who are evaluating the possibility of developing convention, sports, entertainment or attraction facilities.  The successful candidate will have an interest in most, and experience in at least one, of the following analytical steps included in a typical feasibility study:


  1.  Market, economic, and demographic analysis
  2.  Analysis of trends within an industry
  3.  Phone and personal interviews for the purposes of gathering information
  4.  Development and analysis of surveys and/or focus groups
  5.  Analysis of competitive venues
  6.  Analysis of marketing opportunities
  7.  Development of detailed financial models
  8.  Economic and fiscal impacts analysis
  9.  Evaluation of funding / return on investment metrics



  •  Produce well-organized and comprehensive client-ready reports
  •  Analyze data from a number of sources and derive commercial insight for clients
  •  Build financial models and assess project KPIs
  •  Deliver superior client service and meet client needs, commitments and deadlines
  •  Deliver superior customer service and meet client needs, commitments and deadlines
  •  Responsible for development of market research and financial analysis for all projects
  •  Proposal and presentation development
  •  Analyze local market characteristics, economic trends, and demographic information
  •  Research convention, sports and entertainment industry trends
  •  Interview facility managers to assess performance of their facilities
  •  Design and implement surveys targeted at event organizers, show promoters, and venue managers to evaluate demand potential for proposed or expanding facilities
  •  Develop comprehensive comparative analyses between proposed facilities and existing facilities that feature similar building and market characteristics
  •  Meet on-site with clients and conduct field research
  •  Learn and implement proprietary models to forecast financial operations and economic and fiscal impacts generated by certain public facilities
  •  Work with senior staff to develop facility recommendations for organizations wishing to expand existing or build new facilities
  •  Work with senior staff to develop demand projections and financial forecasts for such facilities
  •  Maintain and enhance database and industry contacts



To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting or Marketing, preferable
  • 1+ years experience (including internships) in analytics, finance or accounting, required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in internet research 
  • Excellent timemangement skills managing and meeting deadlines
  • Business savvy in client interactions
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Self-starter
