THE ROLE

Building exceptional brands begins with creating exceptional experiences. The Marketing Coordinator at Citizens Market Atlanta will assist in creating a best-in-class, fully integrated brand, marketing, sales, and engagement strategy. As a Marketing Coordinator for Citizens Market Atlanta, you will own tactical marketing execution for Citizens Market Atlanta brands including marketing communications, digital advertising, website, online profiles, email, public relations, social media, local restaurant marketing, menus and POS materials, and event marketing. This role requires the ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and initiatives while maintaining a positive attitude and energy.  

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Support with end-to-end management of social media channels. Harness the power of storytelling to create and curate compelling content across diverse social media platforms, with a focus on Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Develop and implement email strategy for monthly newsletters and additional emails for event programming and activations
  • Manage food hall website and the extended digital presence across third party platforms, online directories, and review sites to drive efficiencies based on data/user insights
  • Monitor and manage online customer sentiment
  • Identify and activate local marketing opportunities, sponsorships, and grassroots marketing
  • Assist with managing the marketing calendar and execution of tactical support for event programming and brand activations
  • Assist with traffic driving campaigns, leveraging promotions, events and offers supported by a mix of digital, print, social, email, and radio advertising
  • Work as an internal “account manager” for various business units, departments and with third parties and external agencies to drive earned media coverage
  • Support departmental reporting across all marketing efforts including digital marketing, social promotions, and PR 
  •  Track effectiveness of campaigns and identify optimization efforts
  • Analyze email campaign results to drive ongoing improvements in open rates, clicks and reservations
  • Produce impactful collateral, including but not limited to menus, in-restaurant materials and graphics, ad campaigns, event programming, and activations
  • Conduct both broader and local market research and analyze competitive trends
      • Manage external vendors for production and fulfillment of marketing materials

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred - Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business
      • Experience in a marketing role or internship preferred 
      • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the restaurant, food service or hospitality industries
      • Flexibility to work nights and weekends, based on the need for events and activations
