Nature of Work:

Maintain books and records for an intercompany loan system. Assist the senior accountant in providing complete & accurate transaction records for intercompany financial reporting, vendor payment and customer billing.

 

Examples of work performed:

  • Processes accounts receivable & payable invoices and prepares for distribution, ensuring proper documentation accompanies the invoice
  • Processes accounts receivable & payable activity; enters deposits and disbursements into accounting software
  • Assists in software data entry
  • Prepares journal entries as necessary to ensure accurate and timely records
  • Prepare month-end reports as assigned
  • Reconciles monthly transactions and general ledger accounts as assigned
  • Reconciles bank & interest statements as assigned
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • Minimum
    1. Knowledge of general bookkeeping, accounting practices and functions
    2. Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software programs; Word and Excel
    3. High School or GED
    4. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Preferred
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Compensation

  • Base salary range $62,500 - $67,500 per annum
