Status: Full-Time (non-exempt)

Location: Remote  - Bay Area, CA or Charlotte, NC preferred

Elevate Sports Ventures is a best-in-class sports and entertainment consulting firm, providing proven, innovative solutions to organizations across the global sports and entertainment landscape. Formed in partnership between the San Francisco 49ers and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) in early 2018, Elevate SV welcomed Oak View Group (OVG) and Ticketmaster and Live Nation as partners in June 2018 and is spearheading the most prestigious new stadium and redevelopment projects worldwide ranging from NHL Seattle to the New York Islanders’ new Belmont Park Arena.  Other current projects include Inter Miami, MLS St. Louis, and the Oakland A’s.  
 
ACCOUNTING ANALYST – OVERVIEW: 
Reporting directly to the lead of finance, this position will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties and assist with in-depth financial reporting and planning.  
  
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Document business transactions by entering account information 
  • Maintain accurate General Ledger 
  • Assist with preparation and review of month-end procedures 
  • Prepare daily cash reconciliation and maintain cash book 
  • Assist in financial and budget reporting 
  • Review contracts for revenue recognition  
  • Aid in policy and control implementation 
  • Assist and act as liaison for auditors  
  • Recommend finance actions by analyzing accounting options 
  • Handle information confidentially  
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

A.  Education and/or Experience 
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax, accounting, finance, or business  
  • 0-3 years of experience in accounting/finance 
  • CPA or CPA in progress a plus 
B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  
  • Strong analytical mindset 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & general Microsoft Office applications  
  • Ability to meet deadlines 
  • Ability to juggle Multiple Project Tasks 
  • Experience with MS Dynamics (Great Plains) a plus 
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP; public accounting experience a plus
