VICE PRESIDENT OF CLIENT STRATEGY – OVERVIEW:  Developing best-in-class products and product strategy will be key for Elevate to achieve its goals of increased revenue and acclaim.  The Vice President, Client Strategy will play an integral role in supporting opportunities for Elevates growth and success. Leveraging experience with agency, brands (including properties) and technology, this person will strategize and develop best in-class practices to effectively create, communicate, and deliver customized sales opportunities that address the clients’ needs and help drive incremental sales growth. As a trusted advisor with the ability to manage client expectations throughout the duration of client engagement, the Vice President, Client Strategy can effectively communicate the value proposition of Elevate products as well as using the products to guide clients towards identifying actionable insights. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Client Relations: Trusted advisor with ability to manage client expectations throughout the duration of client engagement, including: 
  • Hold and nurture senior-level relationships with clients, prospects and partners through regular touchpoints and innovation sessions with an ability to contribute strategically at any moment. 
  • Understand clients’ long-term goals, business objectives and challenges. Knowledge of Elevates entire business and how each unit can be used to solve and achieve clients' expectations.  
  • Ability to lead strategic conversations about how to manage clients’ business and marketing, understanding clients’ business and challenges inside and out to navigate discussions with leadership. 
  • Excite and energize clients on how our solutions can solve their business and/or marketing challenges, citing previous work examples. 
  • Understand and define measures of success for clients and ensure that they are met.  
  • Business Development & New Client Onboarding: Ensure flawless transition of client, effectively facilitating day-to-day management of accounts both internally and externally.  
  • Key participation in development and execution of Business Development Project Plan - including collaborating with leadership on areas of priority focus.    
  • End-to-end management of engagement with a qualified lead, prepping for initial calls, onboarding team when deal is signed, etc. Find opportunities for organic growth (upsell) with clients and identifies strategic position for renewal and/or growth. 
  • Convince clients that there are challenges they may not yet have identified (or at least understood could be solved). 
  • Team Leadership & Product Contributions 
  • Lead purposeful and productive communication & work streams with other ESV verticals/functions.  
  • Develop strong relationships with cross functional teams driving effective collaboration across verticals. 
  • Educate internally and externally on the benefits of consumer insights (and later, other products) to evolve marketing and business decision-making. 
  • Surface new product development opportunities and/or issues with current solution and own feedback loop to product team and roadmap. 
  • Active participation in formal product forums. 
Future 
  • Develop sound business practices built around strategy; goal setting; hiring/mentoring; advising and training. Will also be responsible for personal and team revenue goals.  
  • Lead advocate in coordinating internal resources for the preparation and delivery of client-centric product solutions. 
  • Lead and mentor strategy team to deliver their best work to Elevate clients and partners, foster members of strategy team’s professional development. 
  • Ensure an operationally fit team that is structured and properly staffed. 
  • Facilitate & foster inter-team relationships that spread learnings and result in greater collaboration. 
  • Stewardship and helping with management of the group P&L. 
  • Assist in development of product marketing materials such as case studies, pitch decks and other product collateral. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education and/or Experience 
  • 10+ years of demonstrated consultative and solution-oriented Client Management & Business Development Experience; strong negotiation and closing skills.  
  • Diverse Client Management Experience. 
  • Expertise working with brands and agencies, experience navigating complex landscapes with multiple stakeholders. 
  • Self-motivated – Able to identify opportunities, sell new business, and close sales. 
  • Strong business and strategic planning acumen. 
  • Understanding of marketing program design, execution, and measurement. 
  • Effective communication across multiple levels of an organization. 
  • Proven willingness to invest heavily in understanding clients’ business, their market, their competition, and their customers. 
  • Confident analytical skills, ability to translate objective data and information into strategic recommendations. 
  • Works well in a team/highly collaborative environment. 
  • Strong Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Keynote, etc.
