The University of Texas at San Antonio Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking well-qualified individuals for, Assistant Athletics Trainer (Women's Soccer). 

Job duties include:
1. Provide athletic medicine services for team practices and competitions.
 2. Provide prevention, treatment and rehabilitation for injuries to student-athletes.
 3. Maintain medical records for all assigned student athletes.
 4. Design and implement pre-habilitation and post injury rehabilitation for the student-athletes.
 5. Assist in the daily management of training room, including maintenance and storage of supplies and equipment.
 6. Assist in organizing and administration of the athletic training facility.
 7. Provide computer records of athletic injuries, illnesses and their treatments.
 8. Assist with issues concerning insurance.
 9. Ensure all assigned tasks are in compliance with University, Conference USA and NCAA rules.
 10. May supervise team sport/s.
 11. Perform other duties as assigned.

- Two years of experience of progressive experience in sports medicine field.
 - Applicants must possess a BOC Certification (Board of Certification).
 - Applicants must possess a State of Texas athletic training license or be eligible for license thru NATA (National Athletic Trainer’s Association) certification.
 - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 - Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one by first day of employment.
 - Criminal Background Check (CBC).
