Ticket Sales and Services: Ticket Sales
Job Description
Syracuse Athletics is looking for motivated and experienced sales personalities that can engage customers and potential fans with a strong focus on relationship building. The position will handle a portfolio of current clients as well as cultivate relationships to drive revenue and attendance for Syracuse’s four ticketed sports (Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Men’s Lacrosse).
The position will be responsible for inbound and outbound calling, maintaining at least 70 touch points throughout the day and delivering a standard of customer service unparalleled in collegiate athletics. Other responsibilities include attending community events, attending athletic contests, and other marketing assignments.
  •  Bachelor’s degree preferred in field of communications, marketing, sales or sports management.
Job Specific Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of Ticketing Systems and CRM systems.
  • At least one (1) year of ticket sales or marketing experience with experience in revenue generation.
  • Motivated self-starter who wants to begin and continue their career in collegiate athletics, sports sales/marketing, sales, or communications.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Handle all telephone sales including a daily call rate of 60+ calls per day while meeting and exceeding sales goals as determined by administration.
  • Engage in community selling, including face-to-face sales in the stadium or out-of-office and game days.
  • Assigned time for creativity and innovation to further develop the sales plan and marketing focus of Syracuse Athletics.
  • Attend sales meetings; coordinate sales efforts with Orange Club, Marketing, Ticket Operations and IMG Sports Marketing.
  • Help manage the sales and marketing initiatives for students developed through Athletics and the Falk School's partnership
  • Other duties as assigned.
